TREND #42 LUXURY GOES ON THE WILD URBAN SAFARY

Vous aimez bien les animaux? Je veux dire les animaux sauvages tels que le léopard, le zèbre, le python ou même... soyons fou: l’alligator. 

Le python et l'alligator sont l'atout luxe de cette tendance très safary urbain sauvage. Le léopard, lui, apporte la chaleur de la savane dans nos dressing et l'imprimé peau de zèbre nous habille dans un style très graphique. Ce que j'aime bien dans tout ça c'est le fait d'associer plusieurs textures et de mixer les différentes peaux par petite touche pour un effet encore plus indomptable et beautiful!

The python and alligator are the luxury asset of this trend wild urban safary. The leopard, brings the heat of the savanna in our dressing room and zebra skin print dresses us in a very graphic style. What I like about all this, is the fact that combine several textures and mixed different skins by touch for a more indomitable and beautiful indeed!

SUMMER TREND REPORT FROM RESORT 2014 PART 8

Encore une tendance mode que j'adore pour l'Eté 2014: le python.

Chez Fendi, la peau précieuse du python est travaillée en patchwork telle une oeuvre d'art.

Lanvin nous emporte dans une garde-robe de rêve avec son fabuleux trench multicolore. Pas encore multi-millionnaire, s'abstenir!

La dernière robe en photo vient de chez Stella Mc Cartney et comme vous le savez peut-être,
 elle n'utilise jamais de peaux, de cuirs et de fourrures. Donc, ce n'est pas du vrai python mais cela ne l'a pas empêché de jouer avec l'imprimé. Car après tout le motif peau de serpent est un imprimé comme les autres et les couleurs qu'elle a utilisé pour cette robe sont à la fois  douces et subtiles!

Lanvin takes us on a wardrobe dream with its fabulous multicolored trench. No multi-millionaire, beware!
The last dress in picture comes from Stella McCartney and as you may know it, she never uses skins, leathers and furs. So it's not real python but that did not stop her from playing with the print. After all the snake skin pattern is a print as any other and the colors she used for this dress are both soft and subtle!

Week #12 SNAKE

Peinture sur soie remontant sur la jambe, broderies perlées en S sur veste Balmain, ou décor de cinéma des années 30, le serpent et plus précisément le python évoque à la fois le luxe, le raffinement et l’exotisme. On sort de l'imprimé python basique pour travailler plus sur la forme du serpent et la texture de la peau. L’animal au sang-froid fait son show !

Silk painting on back leg, embroideries in S on a Balmain jacket or movie set in the 30s, the snakes and specifically the python evokes luxury, refinement and exoticism. We take out the basic snake print to work more on the shape of the python and the texture of the skin. The cold-blooded animal puts on a show!
